Suffering and Nobility as a Trader
How traders deal with self imposed suffering
“Just because you’re suffering does not mean you are noble. It just means you’re suffering.”

Suffering and Nobility as a Trader.
I think many traders like myself treat the come up, the unprofitable stage, the struggle like a creed montage.
It’s supposed to hurt, its supposed to be painful, we’re supposed to be miserable.
That’s what makes the success feel so much better….at least that’s what we’re told.
I spent my teens, listening to gurus talk about Monk mode and shutting the world out while you’re supposed to keep your head down. How you’re supposed to work for hours and hours on end. The “grind”, the “suffering”, it was largely romanticised as part of every entrepreneurs journey.
But after a certain point, maybe its time to leave all that behind, maybe it doesn’t need to hurt anymore, maybe you don’t need that chip on your shoulder to keep you going everyday.
I want to suggest something crazy.
What if we all embraced and accepted the come up, and stopped delaying our gratification to the point of success, or whatever we deem success to be in our heads.
Personally, realising that where I am is exactly where I am supposed to be in my journey has made me not only made me much happier and content with life, but it has also turned me into a better trader.
Operate from a place of gratitude and abundance. The journey is supposed to be long, it’s supposed to be arduous, but it doesn’t need to be miserable.
