AI Features

Fractyl Discipline may send selected journal entries, reflection notes, day logs, optional trade-history data, and related behavioural data to an AI provider in order to generate discipline and behaviour summaries, coaching reviews, Behaviour Insights, and discipline-related reflections. The AI feature is designed to analyse process, psychology, and consistency. It does not provide financial advice, trading signals, investment recommendations, or guarantees of performance.

Payment Data

Payments are processed by a verified third-party payment provider. Fractyl Discipline does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment details on our own systems. We may store payment-related identifiers such as customer ID, subscription status, price ID, and billing period information.

Data Storage

User data and uploaded content may be stored using verified third-party cloud infrastructure and storage providers that support secure access, reliability, and account functionality. Access to user-owned data is restricted using authentication and row-level security policies.

Uploaded Images and Screenshots

Fractyl Discipline allows users to upload trade screenshots and puzzle images as part of the app experience. These uploads are intended only for trade journaling and personal puzzle use.

Users are responsible for reviewing images before uploading them. Please avoid uploading images that contain sensitive personal information, account numbers, passwords, identification details, financial information, private documents, confidential trading information, or content involving other people without their permission.

Uploaded images are stored securely and are private to the user’s account. Fractyl Discipline does not routinely review uploaded images. We may access uploaded files only when necessary to provide support, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain security, enforce our terms, or comply with legal obligations.

By uploading an image, users confirm that the image is appropriate for the intended feature and that they are comfortable storing it within their Fractyl Discipline account.

Broker CSV Imports and Trade-History Data

Fractyl Discipline may allow you to optionally upload broker-exported CSV files or trade-history files to generate deeper Behaviour Insights. These files may include trade dates and times, instruments or symbols traded, entry and exit prices, position size or quantity, trade outcomes, profit and loss, fees or commissions, broker or platform names, account identifiers, notes, and other information included in the export. The exact information depends on your broker or trading platform’s export format.

Broker CSV upload is optional. You can continue using Fractyl Discipline without importing broker history. Broker history helps make Behaviour Insights more comprehensive, but it is not required to use the core journaling, discipline tracking, no-trade reflection, or coaching review features.

We use uploaded trade-history data to provide behaviour-focused insights, including trade frequency patterns, overtrading or revenge-trading signals, hesitation or inconsistency patterns, loss-streak behaviour, consistency between journal reflections and trading activity, rule-following patterns, and other discipline-related observations.

Fractyl Discipline does not use broker CSV data to provide financial advice, investment advice, market predictions, trading signals, strategy optimisation, or buy/sell recommendations.

Fractyl Discipline does not ask for your broker password, broker login credentials, broker API keys, or direct access to your brokerage account. You upload files manually and remain responsible for the information you choose to upload.

Before uploading a broker export, you should review the file and remove any information you do not want to share with Fractyl Discipline, such as account numbers, broker IDs, balances, addresses, or other personal details where possible.

Uploaded trade-history data may be processed together with your journal entries, coaching reviews, no-trade reflections, confirmed-day data, custom journal answers, and rule confirmations to generate Behaviour Insights, coaching reviews, summaries, and discipline-related reflections. We may use trusted service providers, including AI-processing providers, to help operate and provide these features.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Fractyl Discipline uses essential cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the platform. These include cookies required for login sessions, account authentication, dashboard access, security, fraud prevention, password reset flows, and payment processing.

We may use optional analytics and error monitoring tools to understand basic site usage, identify technical issues, and improve reliability. Where required, these optional tools are only enabled based on your cookie preferences.

Fractyl Discipline does not use cookies to store passwords, payment details, trade journal content, screenshots, AI prompts, or private API keys.

Some verified third-party service providers may use cookies or similar technologies as part of their services. These may support authentication, payments, security, analytics, error monitoring, and overall platform reliability.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. Data may be shared only with verified third-party service providers required to operate the dashboard, including providers that support hosting, authentication, secure database storage, payment processing, analytics, security and monitoring, error monitoring, and AI-powered features. These providers may process user data, uploaded images, optional broker CSV or trade-history data, and generated insights only as needed to provide and operate Fractyl Discipline.

User Responsibility

Users should not upload sensitive personal information that is not needed for the dashboard. Users are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter into their journal, rules, and reflections.

Security

We use authentication, protected routes, and database access policies to help protect user data. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

Data Deletion

Users may contact support to request deletion of their account or user-created data, including uploaded broker CSV or trade-history data and generated Behaviour Insights.

Uploaded trade-history data and generated Behaviour Insights are retained for as long as needed to provide the service, unless you delete the data or request deletion, subject to legal, security, or operational retention requirements.
